Obligation-Free Consultation

We’ll visit your site to assess its potential and discuss your vision for your new home or renovation. During this meeting, we’ll walk you through different design options to find the best fit for your needs and budget. This is a great chance for you to ask any questions and get to know us better.

Design

At Smets Building, we offer the freedom to design your home exactly as you envision it.

Quotation

Once you’re happy with the design, we’ll prepare a detailed, no-obligation tender quote for your review. If you’re not entirely satisfied, there’s no pressure to move forward.

Approvals and Contracts

Once all selections are finalised, we’ll update your plans and present a comprehensive, fixed-price contract.

Site Assessments

After accepting the quote and paying a deposit, we will conduct thorough assessments of your site. Before the build begins, we will install safety fencing and signage, implement any necessary remedial measures such as soil or sludge barriers, notify your neighbours via letterbox drop about who we are and what to expect during the build, and liaise closely with your Building Surveyor and Engineer to ensure all procedures are followed.

Selections

Next, it’s time to personalise your home by choosing colours, finishes, fixtures, and more. We will guide you through selecting elements for your kitchen, bathroom, flooring, and electrical layout.

Construction

Now, the building begins! Our senior builder will provide weekly updates to keep you in the loop, and we’ll arrange regular site inspections at key stages of construction.
